Is there really a need for yet another filter dripper? The existing ones needed to be optimized – at least according to renowned company Fellow, which developed the Stagg X Pour Over Dripper and promises a unique brewing experience. What's behind it?

The stainless steel housing is cleverly insulated: while most filters have only one wall, the Stagg X Dripper has two. The effect? The brewing temperature remains consistently high, the coffee doesn't cool down as quickly, and you can taste the difference. If the temperature drops too quickly, bitter notes can develop.

Steep Cone

The cone has steeper walls than comparable products. The increased contact between coffee and water also improves extraction. Not a single drop of water flows past the ground coffee, as can be the case with other filter coffee machines. Instead, the liquid flows through evenly. With the Stagg X, there is no watered-down coffee.

The aroma is full-bodied, rich, and slightly sweet.

Flow Instead of Frustration

There is a pattern of holes on the underside of the cone. These prevent the drain from clogging.

Coffee enthusiasts are all too familiar with the problem: if the filter collapses during brewing, the water can only flow through a tiny surface area. Only when you lift the filter slightly does the liquid flow again as it should. With the Stagg X, you don't have to worry about this annoying distraction.
